These terms govern your use of the Kangaroo Workout iOS application ("the app"), published by Urban Algorithm LLC ("we," "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.
Kangaroo Workout is a workout timer and reference, not medical advice or personal training. The workouts bundled with the app are a record of one person's routine. They are not a recommendation that you do them, or that they are safe for you specifically.
Talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, joint or back issues, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or surgery, or have not exercised in some time. If at any point during a workout you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or anything that doesn't feel right, stop immediately and seek medical attention.
Kangaroo Workout is a workout timer with five bundled workouts (HIIT, Day A, Day B, Standard, Ultra) and a companion Apple Watch app that logs sessions to Apple Health. The app and the content bundled with it (workout definitions, exercise illustrations) are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, decompile, modify, or resell the app or its content.
Nothing in the app constitutes medical, fitness, nutritional, or physical-therapy advice. The exercises, weights, rep schemes, rest periods, and timings are what the app's author personally does. They are not prescribed for you, your body, your goals, or your condition. The app is not a substitute for in-person evaluation by a licensed medical professional or qualified fitness coach.
You assume full responsibility for any risks of injury, illness, or harm that may result from following the workouts in the app, including risks you couldn't reasonably anticipate. You are responsible for choosing appropriate weights, modifying or skipping exercises that aren't right for you, warming up properly, and stopping when your body tells you to stop.
Kangaroo Workout is offered free of charge. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising. The app may, in future versions, add paid features. If it does, the terms will be updated and the change will be surfaced clearly inside the app before any payment is taken.
The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of any exercise depiction or duration, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that following the workouts will produce any specific fitness, weight, strength, or health outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urban Algorithm LLC, its members, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to bodily injury, illness, lost income, lost data, or any other loss, arising out of or relating to your use of the app, your performance of any workout, or any health outcome that follows. This includes injuries sustained while using the app, even if caused by negligence in the app's content or design, to the fullest extent the law allows us to disclaim.
If you enable HealthKit integration on the Apple Watch, the app writes your workout's type and duration into Apple Health for your records. We do not read your Health data, and we do not transmit it anywhere. Apple's HealthKit terms and privacy controls govern that data on your device.

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Significant changes will be surfaced inside the app on the first launch after they ship.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.
